The creative flair of Campana Brothers meets the skillful fancy of Bd Barcelona. A modern design inspired in an aquarium having the artistic marked accent of its authors. They like to integrate the artisanal along with industrial production, creating hybrids in distinct materials. The mix, color, and creative chaos are all characteristical of the Campanas Brothers’ works, presented in the cabinet released by BD.
External panels and doors are in green or blue glass, veneered in natural ash or pine stained in grey. Legs in solid natural ash or pine stained in grey. Interior shelves in green or blue glass. Veneered in Oberflex. Steel tubular painted (beige or dark grey) internal structure.
The Campana brothers chose the colored glass to give the impression of a fish tank. “We were inspired by the idea of an aquarium to create this piece,” said Fernando Campana.
“We love to create hybrids using two different materials; a warm one and a cold one,” said Humberto Campana. “It has become part of our design language.”

The Campana Brothers set up their São Paulo studio in 1983, and are well known for repurposing common materials in unusual ways to create art furniture, art installations, and interiors. Among their most famous pieces is the Vermelha Chair comprising almost 500 meters of rope, while more recent projects include furniture covered in doormats and an armchair made out of furry eyes.
